I recently launched my very first big offer! It went really well, better than I expected it to if I’m being honest. One of the toughest parts of prepping for it was writing a bunch of Instagram captions. Do you struggle with writing Instagram captions? I sure do. How do you write captions that showcase your designs or products but also connect with your audience?
Today I want to share the solution that seriously saved my behind.
Every once in a while the stars align and the perfect course comes along at the perfect time. I was listening to episode 182 of The Feel Good Social Podcast right around the time I was struggling to write all the captions for my upcoming course launch.
In the episode, Kinsey outlines 4 social media posts every brand needs to be sharing on social media. She guides you through the process of telling a story, shares the key components of each post, gives ideas for visuals to accompany the captions, as well as real life examples.
As if that wasn’t enough, she also tells you how to utilize ChatGPT to get a caption draft with heart instead of one that rings hollow and roboty (yes, I know that’s not a real word). To be honest I haven’t utilized this option, but in future I hope to give it a try.
I couldn’t believe my luck, four post ideas with clear instructions on how to write them. I was ecstatic.
To say this was a breakthrough moment would be a complete understatement. Having a template to help me write these four posts was so incredibly helpful and gave me a much needed framework to make the writing process quick and painless. After working through the four posts she outlines in the podcast episode I felt a huge sense of relief and more importantly I had written four posts that put a spotlight on my offer without it feeling super salesy (my ultimate fear).
Thanks to that podcase episode and the free content Kinsey had shared I felt connected to her, trusted her knowledge, and knew her process would work for me.
The even better news was that she was about to launch a program called 12 Essential Posts. *This is an affiliate link which means if you use it to purchase the course I will get a small commission that will help support this and future content. I purchased this course myself, it was not gifted or sponsored. I loved it, found it incredibly valuable, and felt compelled to share it with you. It took me about 2 seconds to decide I wanted to join the course and the live 12-day challenge that she was running along side it. Here’s how she describes the program in her own words:
The 12 Essential Posts are the most important content you can create and post (repeatedly) for your brand, so you can: stay consistent and active online as a brand, attract and nurture your ideal customers, and boost your sales sustainably & long term.
Kinsey, Feel Good Social
The course is packed with tons of information, caption examples, ideas for visuals, and prompts you can put into ChatGPT. I was so impressed with the depth of information she included in the course and have been using the prompts, examples, and templates to continue to write my own 12 Essential Posts ever since.
If you are struggling to know what to say in your Instagram posts or have a mental block when it comes to social media, or a fear of being salesy, Kinsey is the perfect person to walk along side you and help you build relationships with your followers in a truly authentic way.
